2007 OPM Power Point Presentation on CHANGES to the CFC Application (this highlights and clarifies regulatory changes which took affect in 2007 for Local Agency and Local Federation applications)

Agencies must submit a timely application each year; and they must meet all eligibility requirements each year.

Applications are accepted annually from charitable organizations that would like to participate in the Combined Federal Campaign.  Local Organizations apply directly to the Local Federal Coordinating Committee in each region which they would qualify for inclusion (if your local organization serves both the Metro Denver CFC and the CFC of the Pikes Peak Region - you must apply independently to each campaign).  Typically, local applications can be made starting early March, with a deadline of earlyApril, to be included in the upcoming Fall campaign.  Locally, notices of the upcoming application are sent out around March 1st annually, and a workshop for applicants is held in March annually.  If you have not heard from us by then and would like to apply, please check this website for updates, e-mail us at peakcfc@comcast.net, or call us at 719-531-5501.

Nationally and Internationally (your agency has offices/presence in 15 or more states and/or a foreign country), applications are made directly to the Office of Personnel Management's CFC Operations Office (www.opm.gov/cfc).  The deadline for National Applications can be mid-January or even earlier.

Federations (umbrella organizations with at least 15 member agencies) can apply on behalf of their member organizations, but the application criteria for each member organization must be complete and available for review upon request.

PARTICIPATION:

All agencies and federations that are eligible to participate in each Fall's campaign are also invited to attend CFC Kick-offs and events, participate in the CFC speaker's bureau, review campaign materials upon request, and we always welcome stories, press releases, photos, dollar buys, and other other materials we can use in our local publications and media campaigns.  Submit information or questions to Barbara Fitz at peakcfc@comcast.net or call 719-531-5501.
